Accountant
An excellent opportunity has arisen within Baker Britt, Chartered Accountants in Chislehurst. An established and rapidly growing accountancy practice with a fantastic working culture. Our practice offers a full range of accounting and taxation services to a wide portfolio of clients from a range of industries across the board.
Duties of this role will include all aspects of working within an accounting practice from bookkeeping to the preparation limited company accounts.
This role will specifically include the following;
- Bookkeeping duties
- Payroll
- VAT returns
- Dealing with HMRC enquiries.
- Preparation of annual financial statements for sole trader, partnerships and limited companies.
- Preparation of individual self-assessment tax returns
The successful candidate will be AAT / ACCA qualified or equivalent with experience of working within an accountancy practice. We require good written and verbal communication skills along with a professional telephone manor. The successful candidate will join a team of seven and grow with the practice as we move through the digital accounting age.
The role if full time, 37.5 hours per week and will offer a salary between £35,000 to £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
